Colour Specialism
Balayage, babylights & hair colour in Oswaldtwistle.
Hair colour is what I trained for and what I love. From a subtle root touch-up to a complete transformation, every colour appointment starts with a free consultation and skin test, so you sit down on the day knowing exactly what to expect.
What I offer
Every kind of colour, done properly.
I cover the full spectrum of professional colour work: root colours, full-head colour, foils, babylights, balayage in all its forms, face-frame and money-piece techniques, root shadow blending, and dedicated toning services.
A professional bond-builder (K18 or Olaplex) can be added to any colour service. For previously coloured, finer, or lightened hair I'll usually recommend it. The difference in condition is genuinely visible.
Every new colour client gets a free 15-minute consultation. We'll look at what you want, what your hair can realistically achieve in one session, and book the right service from there.

Frequently asked
Colour, answered.
Do I need a consultation before booking colour?
+
Yes. If you're new to the salon, or if your colour involves bleach, lightening, or a major change, a free 15-minute consultation is required. It includes a skin test (legally required 48 hours before colour) and lets us agree on the exact result you want.
How long does balayage take?
+
Balayage highlights take around 1 hour 30 minutes for a partial, or 3 hours 10 minutes for a full balayage package (which includes the colour, tone, and blow-dry). The full balayage package starts from £140.
How often should I get my roots done?
+
Most clients book root colour every 6–8 weeks. If you're trying to extend the time between appointments, ask about face-frame highlights or root-shadow techniques that grow out more gradually.
Will my colour damage my hair?
+
Modern colouring with a professional bond-builder included is far gentler than colour services of even five years ago. I always add a bond-builder (K18 or Olaplex) for clients with finer or previously damaged hair, which rebuilds the bonds the chemicals break, so your hair feels healthier when you leave than when you arrived.
Do you offer colour correction?
+
Yes, but always after a consultation. Colour corrections vary enormously in complexity and price, so I never quote without seeing the hair in person. The consultation is free.
Where is the salon based?
+
The salon is at 219 Union Road, Oswaldtwistle, BB5 3HU. I welcome clients from Accrington, Blackburn, and across Lancashire.
