Cutting & Styling
Cuts and styling, tailored to you.
Precision cuts shaped around your hair type, face shape, and how much time you actually want to spend on it at home. Blow-outs and event styling for when you want to feel polished.
My approach
Cut to suit, not to template.
Every cut starts with a conversation about how you actually wear your hair day to day. There's no point cutting a style that looks great in the salon if you can't recreate it at home.
For new clients, that first conversation is a free 15-minute consultation. We look at your hair, talk through what you've liked and disliked from past appointments, and agree on what we're going to do, before any scissors come out.
All cut & blow appointments include a wash, conditioning treatment, and a finished blow-dry. Dry cuts are perfect for maintaining existing shapes between full appointments.

Frequently asked
Cutting & styling, answered.
What's the difference between a dry cut and a cut & blow?
+
A dry cut is exactly that: your hair is shaped dry, ideal for trims or maintaining an existing style. A cut & blow includes a wash, conditioning treatment, and a blow-dry to finish, so you leave with a polished look.
Do you cut all hair types?
+
Yes. Long, short, fine, thick, curly, straight, naturally textured, or extension-fitted. I cut to suit your hair type and face shape rather than to a one-size template.
How long does a blow-dry take?
+
A standard blow-dry takes around an hour. Pin curls or a combined blow-dry and styling appointment also runs about an hour. Special event styling can be booked alongside a consultation if you want something more elaborate.
Can I bring a photo of what I want?
+
Absolutely, I encourage it. Photos give us a clear shared reference. At the consultation we'll talk through what's realistic for your hair type and texture, and any adjustments needed to make a look work for you.
Do you do extensions blow-dries?
+
Yes. Extensions blow-dries are slightly different from natural hair (they need more care, especially around the bonds or wefts) and are priced accordingly. £25 for a standard blow-dry on extensions, £35 with pin curls.
Where is the salon based?
+
The salon is at 219 Union Road, Oswaldtwistle, BB5 3HU. I welcome clients from Accrington, Blackburn, and across Lancashire.
